The Chairman asked the Democratic and Corporate Services Manager to explain the housekeeping arrangements for a safe meeting due to coronavirus restrictions.

To consider the report of the Monitoring Officer.

Minutes:

The Democratic and Corporate Services Manager presented the report on the Broadcasting of Council Meetings.

 

Members were advised that officers were requesting the recommendation in the report be amended to clarify that the intention was to apply to meetings of the Executive, Council and Committees.

 

It was moved by Councillor T J Bartlett, and duly seconded by Councillor T A Bond

 

RESOLVED: (a)     That the broadcast of Executive, Council and Committee meetings during a six-month trial period be authorised commencing with immediate effect.

 

                        (b)     That the Democratic and Corporate Services Manager be authorised to manage all aspects of the broadcast of Executive, Council and Committee meetings.
