MATTERS WHICH THE MANAGEMENT TEAM SUGGESTS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IN PRIVATE AS THE REPORT CONTAINS EXEMPT INFORMATION AS DEFINED WITHIN PART 1 OF SCHEDULE 12A OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 AS INDICATED AND IN RESPECT OF WHICH THE PROPER OFFICER CONSIDERS THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN MAINTAINING THE EXEMPTION OUTWEIGHS THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN DISCLOSING THE INFORMATION

It was moved by Councillor M D Conolly, duly seconded and

 

RESOLVED:       That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the remainder of the business on the grounds that the items to be considered involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 4  of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Pay Award 2019

To consider the attached report of the Head of Paid Service.

Minutes:

The Director of Governance presented the report on the Pay Award 2019.

 

 

RESOLVED: (a)     That a pay award of 2.5% or £500 whichever is the higher on the base salary of all staff from 1 April 2019 be approved and that the car and fuel allowances for affected staff are increased by the same amount.

 

                        (b)     That the £1,672 uplift in the car allowances for Grade C officers from 1 April 2019 (already inclusive of the 2.5%) be approved.
