It was noted that, in accordance with Council Procedure Rule 4, Councillor R S Walkden was appointed as substitute member for Councillor C A Vinson.

To consider the attached Minutes of the meeting held on 27 September 2021.

The Minutes of the meeting held on 27 September 2021 were approved as a correct record for signing by the Chairman.

RESOLVED:       That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the remainder of the business on the grounds that the items to be considered involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Act.

To consider the report of the Head of Paid Service (to follow).

The Head of Paid Service’s Car Lease Salary Sacrifice Scheme report was considered by Members.

Members discussed the operation of the scheme and the financial impact of it for the Council.

RESOLVED:       That use of NHS Fleet Solutions to provide “Eco friendly” low emission lease car options to eligible employees through a salary sacrifice scheme be approved.
