Information about Kent and Medway Police Crime Panel
The Police and
Crime Panel was established as a formal
joint committee of Kent Count Council, Medway Council and all 12
District Councils in Kent. It also includes two independent
members. The Police and Crime Panel is bound by Schedule 12A of the
Local Government Act 1972, as amended, in relation to the
publication of agendas, minutes and reports.

Kent County Council
shall act as the host authority for the Police and Crime Panel for
the purposes of planning and delivery of the Police and Crime
Panel’s work programme, the provision of accommodation and
officer support.
