I was born in Folkestone in 1958 and attended St Edmund’s Catholic Secondary School, Dover. Between 1985 and 1993 I was a Territorial Army Officer. I’m married and live in Walmer with my wife Alison. I’m a former senior manager with BT Plc and am now retired.
Previous local government experience: Dover District Council since 2015 (elected for Walmer) and Cabinet member from 2019 to 2023. Kent County Council Cabinet member since 2021.
