I attended college for engineering and then navigation. I have worked in the Merchant Navy as an able seaman, in office work, driving lorries, tractors and taxis. I am currently a fruit farmer as well as a blacksmith.
I have been active in the Labour Party for more than 25 years and have long term experience on Co-op Committees.
