For those meetings that are being broadcast there will be a link to view the live broadcast under the ‘Media’ heading below. Only those items not restricted on the agenda will be broadcast.

Licensing Act 2003 - Application for the Variation of a Premises Licence in respect of: Marley Brooks Weddings, Marley Brooks, Stourmouth Road, Preston The Sub-Committee is requested to determine the application.
Applicant: Kris Saxby and Janie Saxby
The following papers are attached.
(i) Licensing Team Leader’s report. (ii) Variation Application. (iii) Existing licence. (iv) Map of the area. (v) Copy of representations.
The procedure to be followed by the Sub-Committee is attached to this agenda. Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered an application from Mr K Saxby and Mrs J Saxby in respect of Marley Brooks Weddings, Marley Brooks, Stourmouth Road, Preston, CT3 1HP. The application was for the variation of the existing premises licence to remove a condition which read:
‘Events will be limited to 28 per year.’
On the basis of the representations of the applicant and his representative, and other persons, the Sub-Committee found the following facts to be established:
(i) That following negotiation, agreement had been reached with both other parties and the applicant to limit the number of events to 40 per year.
In reaching its finding, the Sub-Committee took into account the following:
(i) The Dover District Council Licensing Policy. (ii) The Licensing Act 2003 and the guidance given under Section 182 of the Act.
RESOLVED: That the application for a variation to the existing premises licence for Marley Brooks Weddings, Marley Brooks, Stourmouth Road, Preston, CT3 1HP be determined as follows:
(i) To amend the current condition so as to read ‘Events shall be limited to 40 per calendar year’. |
