Shehrazade Maria Mamjan

With a background in asset management and financial consultancy in London, I relocated to Dover 22 years ago to become a general manager for a local company.  After returning to university to pursue a combined BA/BSC in English and legal studies, I ran my own consultancy and now work as a multi-lingual interpreter and translator, while volunteering advocacy and support for marginalised and underprivileged individuals.  I also served as general secretary for the Canterbury mosque and community and continue to volunteer to raise funds for the local community, as well as undertaking school visits to support their curriculum on Islam and muslims, with plans to expand these efforts locally.  I have lived in Elvington with my teenage son since 2016.
