Councillor Vinson was elected to represent Walmer in 2019 and serves on a number of Council committees. In addition to his formal Committee appointments he is also the Vice Chair of the Council’s Climate Change Working Group.
He lives in Walmer and is passionate about local history and the natural environment. He enjoys spending time with family, exploring the countryside and playing golf.
Chris currently works in the transport sector, following an earlier career in energy and water utilities. He is a Chartered PR Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
